Doris Gluth is a former East German middle-distance runner born on December 19, 1955, in Stralsund. She competed primarily in the 800m and 1500m events. Notably, she won a silver medal at the 1973 European Athletics Junior Championships in Duisburg and placed ninth at the 1974 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg. Gluth also finished seventh in the 800m at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal and became DDR Indoor Champion over 1500m in 1979. Her athletic career was affiliated with SC Empor Rostock.
