He has achieved significant success in golf, winning the Canadian Amateur Championship four times and the B.C. Amateur Championship a record 13 times. A member of the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame since 1990, Roxburgh has represented Canada in international competitions, including multiple participations in the Eisenhower Trophy. He has also been an advocate for junior golf development while maintaining his amateur status throughout his golfing career.
