Douglas James Shave (1947-2017) was an Australian politician who served in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly as a member of the Liberal Party. Elected in 1989 for Melville and later for Alfred Cove, he held several ministerial roles, including Minister for Tourism, and Minister for Lands. He was also Shadow Minister for Small Business. Shave remained active in politics until he lost his seat in 2001. His career encompassed both frontbench and backbench positions, reflecting his influence in the legislative assembly for over a decade.
