Douglas Archibald Hamilton Ritchie was a Rhodesian dentist and politician, born on 14 February 1918 in Jamaica to British parents. After serving in the Royal Air Force during World War II, he became a prominent dentist in Southern Rhodesia. Elected to the Medical Council in 1958, he later joined the Rhodesian Front, serving as an MP from 1965 to 1979. Following Zimbabwe's independence, he emigrated to South Africa, where he continued his dental practice until his death in 1999.
