Doyle Cofer was an American professional basketball player born on January 18, 1923. He played for the Detroit Vagabond Kings in the National Basketball League during the 1948-49 season, averaging 3.4 points per game. Previously, he was part of the Indiana State Sycamores, which reached the finals of the 1946 NAIA Division I men's basketball tournament. After his basketball career, he became a civil engineer but sadly lost his life in an accident at age 75 when a bulldozer he was loading onto a flatbed toppled over.
