Dragan Konovalov, known as Kena, is a former Yugoslav boxer of Romani descent, born on January 25, 1961, in Svetozarevo. He started his boxing career in 1977 and became the most successful boxer in Jagodina. He achieved significant success in the 1980s, winning two national championships, multiple medals in Balkan and Mediterranean championships, and notably a silver medal at the 1985 European Championships. Konovalov remained loyal to his club throughout his career, ending with an amateur record of 185 wins out of 199 bouts before transitioning to professional boxing.
