Dragan Savić was a Serbian comic author, caricaturist, painter, and journalist, born on May 6, 1923, in Petrovac na Mlavi. He was a founding member of the comic magazine 'Ošišani jež' and is recognized as a significant figure in the 'Golden Age of Serbian Comics' from 1935 to 1941. Savić also created the mascot of Belgrade, the sparrow Dživadžan, contributing to the cultural landscape of Serbia. He passed away on January 12, 2009.
