Dragan Stojnić was one of the most significant Serbian and Yugoslav chanson singers. He lived in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Skopje, and Belgrade, cities that significantly influenced his musical creation. He is fondly remembered by older Sarajevans as a great gentleman and a true friend of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Having always aspired to be a singer, he spent nearly 40 years on stage and studied French, although he eventually graduated from a tourism school.
