Drago Čepar is a Slovenian mathematician, informatician, political scientist, and politician born on December 21, 1946, in Barka, Divača. He served as the State Secretary of the Republic of Slovenia at the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Affairs from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, he was the head of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for Religious Communities from 2000 to 2009, first as a government official and later as director. He also ran for parliament in the 2011 elections on the SLS ticket.
