Dragomir Josifow is a Bulgarian composer, conductor, and pianist born on June 11, 1966, in Varna. He studied choir and orchestral conducting as well as composition at the National Music Academy in Sofia. He advanced his studies in Amsterdam and Bucharest. Josifow founded the Ensemble Musica Nova Sofia and is currently the choir director at the Plovdiv Opera. His compositions have been featured at various music festivals, and he primarily creates instrumental works using experimental techniques and microchromatics to explore sound transformations.
