Dusa McDuff is a British mathematician born on October 18, 1945, in London, known for her work in topology. She was the first recipient of the Ruth Lyttle Satter Prize in Mathematics. McDuff is a Fellow of the Royal Society and the Royal Society of Edinburgh, as well as a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society. Additionally, she has received the Berwick Prize for her contributions to the field.
