Dušan Karba was a prominent Slovenian pharmacist born on November 6, 1915, in Kamnik and passed away on May 17, 2004, in Ljubljana. He graduated from the University of Zagreb in 1938 and later received his doctorate in 1966. Karba played an essential role in organizing the Slovenian pharmaceutical service after World War II, served as president of the Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society, and was a professor at the University of Ljubljana, teaching pharmaceutical chemistry. He also contributed to the reintroduction of pharmacy studies at the university.
