He is a leading scientist at the National Severe Storms Laboratory in Oklahoma and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma. After completing his electrical engineering degree in 1965 at the University of Belgrade, he earned a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is the author of many publications and holds four patents related to weather radar.
