Dylan Edward Cease is an American professional baseball pitcher born on December 28, 1995. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) primarily for the Chicago White Sox and currently for the San Diego Padres. Cease was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2014 and traded to the White Sox in 2017. He made his MLB debut in 2019 and was with the White Sox until 2023. Notably, he threw a no-hitter on July 25, 2024, against the Washington Nationals.
