Dylan Iorwerth is a Welsh journalist and writer born in April 1957, who works in the Welsh language. He was born in Dolgellau and moved to Waunfawr at the age of seven. After studying at Aberystwyth University, he joined the Wrexham Leader and later worked at BBC Radio Cymru, reporting on politics for BBC Cymru in London. He co-founded the weekly newspaper Sulyn and established the weekly magazine Golwg in 1988. Iorwerth has received multiple literary awards and was made an honorary fellow of the University of Wales in March 2010.
