Edward Eardley Knollys (1902–1991) was an influential member of the Bloomsbury Group, known for his roles as an art critic, dealer, and collector. He began painting later in life and held his first solo exhibition at age 58. Knollys ran The Storran Gallery in London, showcasing works by notable artists. After the tragic loss of his life partner during WWII, he moved to Dorset and formed a male salon with literary and artistic figures. He inherited a significant art collection, which he bequeathed to Mattei Radev upon his passing.
