Edward Chalupka was a Canadian football player born on February 23, 1947, who played college football at the University of North Carolina. He enjoyed his entire professional career with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL from 1970 to 1976, winning the Grey Cup in 1972. After retirement, he served as the fifth president of the CFL Players' Association from 1981 to 1986. Chalupka passed away on November 17, 2019, at the age of 72.
