Charles Edward "Ed" Connor Jr. is an American neuroscientist born on August 13, 1955. He has significantly contributed to the understanding of object synthesis in the higher-level visual cortex. Since 2009, he has served as a Professor of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University, where he also became Director of the Zanvyl Krieger Mind Brain Institute in 2007. His research interests include neuroaesthetics, focusing on the intersection of neuroscience and beauty.
