He played for the Toledo Jeeps in the National Basketball League during the 1946–47 season, participating in three games and averaging 1.3 points per game. Prior to his basketball career, he worked as a taxicab driver in Toledo, Ohio, and later served as a photographer for The Blade for 34 years.
