Edwin Walter Karpowich was an American football tackle, born on September 28, 1912. He played for five seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Karpowich was drafted by the Pirates in the eighth round as the 66th pick of the 1936 NFL draft. He played college football at Catholic University for the Catholic University Cardinals football team. Karpowich passed away on November 26, 2005.
