Edward Adolph McKitka, known as Ed McKitka, was a Canadian politician who served as the Mayor of Surrey, British Columbia for one term from 1975 to 1977. He began his political career as a city alderman in 1968 and was elected mayor in 1975. His tenure ended when he lost the 1977 election and subsequently faced legal issues related to misuse of office, resulting in a conviction for breach of trust. After a brief hiatus, he returned to politics as an alderman in 1979. McKitka passed away on February 4, 2014, due to a vehicle accident.
