Edda Klatte is a former German middle-distance runner, born on October 2, 1953, in Neubrandenburg. She was successful in the 800-meter race in the late 1960s and early 1970s, alongside her twin sister Elke Klatte. Edda participated in an unofficial world record for a 4×800-meter relay on September 28, 1969, and became the East German champion in the 4×800-meter relay in 1970. She recorded her personal best of 2:06.8 minutes in the 800-meter race in 1972.
