Eddie Macken is an Irish show jumper, born on October 20, 1949, in Granard, County Longford. He was one of the world's most successful show jumpers in the late 1970s. Macken has achieved significant successes, including winning the Aga Khan Trophy and multiple British Championships. He represented Ireland at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics and served as a coach for the Irish team in 2004. He primarily competes in the USA and Canada and participated in Nations Cups in 2008.
