Alfred Edgar 'Eddie' Marks was an Irish first-class cricketer born on 15 May 1924 in Belfast. He was educated at Methodist College Belfast and played club cricket for North of Ireland Cricket Club and North Down. Marks made his first-class debut for Ireland in 1953 against Glamorgan and played two more matches against Scotland in 1954 and 1955. He struggled with batting, scoring only 35 runs, but took five catches and made two stumpings as a wicket-keeper. He worked as a draughtsman at Harland and Wolff shipyard and passed away on 14 February 1996.
