Eddie Randle Sr. (May 27, 1907 - May 9, 1997) was an American jazz trumpeter and bandleader known for his band, Eddie Randle and his Blue Devils, formed in 1932. Growing up in Pulaski County and later moving to St. Louis at age 16, Randle was influenced by various jazz musicians. His band gained popularity in the 1930s, with performances broadcast on WEW radio. He played a significant role in the local music scene, hiring talented musicians like Miles Davis. Randle also served as a business agent for the St. Louis musicians' union during the 1940s.
