Eddie Jerome Vedder, born Edward Lewis Severson III on December 23, 1964, is an American singer, musician, and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and one of the four guitarists of the rock band Pearl Jam. He also performed as a guest vocalist in Temple of the Dog, a tribute band for the late Andrew Wood. Vedder is renowned for his powerful voice and has been recognized as one of the greatest lead singers in music history. He has released several solo albums, including the soundtrack for 'Into the Wild' in 2007 and 'Earthling' in 2022.
