Edgardo Pablo Virgilio Murguía was an Argentine union leader and politician from the Justicialist Party. He served as a national senator for the province of Santa Cruz on two occasions, first from 1973 to 1976 and later from 1983 to 1989. Additionally, from 1989 to 1991, he was the intervener at Yacimientos Carboníferos Fiscales (YCF), where he had built his career since the 1950s alongside his union activities.
