Edgars Piksons, born on July 17, 1983, in Cēsis, is a former Latvian biathlete who transitioned to work as a border guard. He began his biathlon career in 1996 and joined the Latvian national team in 2003. Piksons achieved notable success at the 2006 European Championships, winning a silver medal. His best World Cup results included a seventh-place finish in a relay and an eighth-place finish in a sprint at the Biathlon World Championships 2011. His career ended in 2014 after a doping violation led to a suspension.
