Edith Ceccarelli, born February 5, 1908, in Willits, was an American supercentenarian recognized as the oldest living person in the United States at her passing on February 22, 2024. The daughter of Italian immigrants, she graduated high school in 1927 and married Elmer 'Brick' Keenan in 1933, later moving to Santa Rosa. After returning to Willits in 1971, she lived independently until 107. Following her husband’s death, she remarried in 1986. Following Bessie Hendricks' death in January 2023, she became the oldest living U.S. resident and the fourth verified oldest person worldwide.
