Edith Gadawits, later known as Edith Schober, was an Austrian resistance fighter against Nazism, born on August 18, 1924, in Vienna. At the young age of 19, she was sentenced to death by Nazi justice alongside Felix Imre, spending seven months on death row before her sentence was commuted to twelve years of imprisonment.
