Edmar Fetter (1923-1990) was a Brazilian politician and owner of the newspaper Diário Popular in Pelotas. He belonged to a family of local politicians, being the brother of Adolfo Antônio Fetter and uncle of Fetter Júnior. He served as mayor of Pelotas following the 1963 municipal election and was elected vice-governor of Rio Grande do Sul in the indirect state election of 1970. During his mayoralty, he helped establish the Association of Municipalities of the Southern Zone.
