Edmond Reuter was a Luxembourgish lycée professor and a member of the State Council. He was nominated as a member of the State Council on December 7, 1972, and became the vice-president of this institution on December 30, 1988, remaining in this role until his death on February 12, 1990. A street in the 'Zone artisanale et Commerciale Weiergewan' in Conter is named after him.
