Edmund Maduabebe Daukoru, born on October 13, 1943, is a prominent Nigerian figure known for his role as the Minister of State for Energy and later as the Secretary General of OPEC in 2006. He is also recognized for becoming the Amayanabo, or traditional ruler, of Nembe Kingdom in 2008. In addition, he served as the Chairman of the South South Monarchs forum during the presidency of Goodluck Jonathan.
