Edna Amy Iles was an English classical pianist born in 1905 and renowned for her performances across Britain and Europe. She debuted as a soloist at 15 and became a prominent figure in the classical music scene during the 1920s and 1930s. A pupil of Nikolai Medtner, she championed his works and performed notable compositions. Iles maintained her presence in music until her last recorded recital in 1977 and continued to contribute to music education through donations to the British Museum. She passed away in 2003 at the age of 97.
