Eduard Yereemy Khachikyan (December 16, 1928 – February 4, 2018) was an Armenian astrophysicist and a prominent scholar in the field. He earned his doctorate in physical-mathematical sciences in 1975 and became a professor in 1982. Khachikyan was also recognized as an academician of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences in 1996. He was a member of the International Astronomical Union since 1967. Additionally, he was the brother of noted architect Spartak Khachikyan.
