Eduard Slavikovich Kurginyan (born December 16, 1986, in Armavir, Krasnodar Krai) is a Russian sambist and judoka. He is a winner and prize-winner of the Russian Sambo Cup, a champion of Russia and Europe in sambo, and a prize-winner at world championships. Additionally, he has won and placed in various international tournaments and was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of Russia in 2011. He trained under Rudolf Baboyan and competed in the second middle (up to 90 kg) and light heavyweight (up to 100 kg) weight categories.
