Eduardo Antônio da Fonseca was a Brazilian student and guerrilla who fought against the military dictatorship as a member of the National Liberation Alliance (ALN). He was born in Belo Horizonte on February 23, 1947, and was killed in an ambush by regime agents in São Paulo on September 23, 1971, along with two other guerrillas. His case is among those investigated by Brazil's Truth Commission, established to investigate deaths and disappearances during the military dictatorship from 1964 to 1985.
