José Eduardo Robinson Bours Castelo, born December 17, 1956, is a prominent Mexican businessman and politician associated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He served as the governor of Sonora from July 2003 to 2009 after winning the primary election with 51% of the votes in 2000. A member of the Robinson Bours family, which immigrated from the United States in the 19th century, he previously held a position as a Senator representing Sonora in the Mexican Senate before becoming governor.
