Eduardo Luiz Paulo Riesencampf de Almeida, born on October 24, 1933, is a prominent Brazilian architect. He graduated in architecture from the University of São Paulo in 1960 and furthered his studies in Florence, Italy, in 1962, where he focused on Industrial Design and History of Art and Architecture. With a PhD from FAU-USP in 1971, he taught various subjects and supervised postgraduate students. Almeida has authored over 240 projects in his 50-year career and is recognized for advancing modernist architecture in Brazil and was influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright.
