Eduardo Figueroa Geisse was a Chilean engineer, economist, businessman, and consultant. Born in Santiago on February 12, 1916, he served as the Minister of Finance in the government of President Jorge Alessandri. He also held the position of president of the Central Bank of Chile for a period of two years, from 1959 to 1961. Figueroa Geisse contributed to economic policy and financial management during a significant time in Chile's history before passing away in Santiago on December 2, 2000.
