Edward Chance Henderson was an English Anglican priest and archdeacon. Born on October 15, 1916, in Newcastle upon Tyne, he was educated at Heaton Grammar School and the University of London. He was ordained as a Deacon in 1939 and as a Priest in 1940. He served as the Organising Secretary of the Church Pastoral Aid Society from 1942 to 1945 and held various incumbencies in Leeds, Halifax, Dewsbury, and Darrington. He was the Archdeacon of Pontefract from 1968 until 1981, passing away on September 24, 1997.
