Edward Horace Fiennes-Clinton, 18th Earl of Lincoln (1913-2001) was an Australian worker who became an English peer in 1988. The son of Edward Henry Fiennes-Clinton, he was educated at Hale School and had a diverse career including roles as a boilermaker, welder, butcher, and machinery attendant. He inherited the title of Earl of Lincoln after the death of his distant cousin, which garnered media attention. He moved to England intending to take his seat in the House of Lords but never completed the process due to legislative changes. He published his autobiography in 1992.
