Edward Hołyński was a Polish Army general born on February 3, 1911, in Moscow. He served as the head of the Communications Forces from 1958. After returning to Poland in 1918, he engaged in military service and later focused on communications, becoming a significant figure in the Polish Army. Throughout his career, Hołyński held various important roles, including managing the Telephone Central at the General Staff and becoming a General in 1963. He passed away on September 20, 1982, in Warsaw and is buried in the Military Cemetery at Powązki.
