Edward Irvin Schalon (1920–2008) was a corporate executive, serving as the chairman and CEO of SPX Corporation. He was a World War II Naval pilot and a successful golfer, winning two Big Ten Conference individual championships at the University of Michigan. Schalon was also a benefactor of Grand Valley State University and gained recognition through inductions into both the Grand Valley Hall of Fame and the University of Michigan Athletic Hall of Honor.
