Edward Laboran (born 23 June 1942) is a former high jumper from Papua New Guinea. He achieved significant success in his athletic career, winning the high jump event at the first Papua New Guinea National Championships in 1962 and subsequently defending his title for three years. He represented his country in the 1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, setting a national record. Laboran also won a gold medal at the inaugural South Pacific Games in Fiji, establishing a record that stood for years. He is honored as an inductee into the Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee Hall of Fame.
