Edward Lametek Adamu is a Nigerian quantity surveyor, business consultant, and leadership strategist. He served as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari on 1 February 2018, succeeding Suleiman Barau. His confirmation by the Nigerian Senate occurred on 22 March 2018. Prior to becoming Deputy Governor, he was the Director of Human Resources at the Central Bank since 2016. Additionally, Adamu held the position of Chairman of the Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON).
