Edward Percy Mhinga (December 5, 1927 – September 2, 2017) served as the second Chief Minister of Gazankulu, a bantustan during apartheid in South Africa. He was a descendant of Tsonga royalty, specifically from King Gunyule, whose lineage includes many tribes within the Vatsonga, such as Maluleke and Bila. Mhinga's ancestors inhabited the land of Gazankulu, which extended into the Pafuri area of Kruger National Park and southern Mozambique.
