Edward Frank Shotter (1933-2019) was an Anglican priest known for founding the London Medical Group in the 1960s, a forum for discussing ethical issues in medicine. Educated at St David's College and St Stephen's House, he was ordained in 1961. He served as a curate and as intercollegiate secretary of the Student Christian Movement before becoming director of studies at the London Medical Group and Dean of Rochester. Shotter was recognized for his contributions to medical ethics but avoided taking a partisan approach within discussions. He passed away shortly after his 86th birthday.
