His responsibilities included oversight of key departments such as the Police and Fire Departments, and the Office of Emergency Management. Previously, he was Deputy Mayor for Administration and held various roles within the administrations of Rudy Giuliani and Michael Bloomberg, including Deputy Press Secretary. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Fordham University’s School of Law.
