The Reverend Edwin Richard Boston, also known as Teddy Boston, was a Church of England clergyman and author. He is noted for building a narrow gauge railway at his Rectory in Cadeby, Leicestershire. Boston was also recognized as the "Fat Clergyman" in The Railway Series books by Rev. W. Awdry. He died on April 1, 1986, and left a unique legacy in both religious and literary circles.
